• Pinetucky Gun Club Host Youth Events

    The ranges at Pinetucky recently welcomed two groups of youth shooters from the GISA (Georgia Independent School Association). The days proved to be very beneficial for the over 100 students who attended the events. If you are interested in getting involved this youth group will begin again in late January 2017 and will run through May 2017, shooting every other Sunday.   • Women’s Alliance of Shooters at Pinetucky

    The interest from women about gun safety, education and personal protection has increased tremendously over the last few years. Pinetucky’s Women Alliance of Shooters caters to all levels of women shooters, from beginner to expert. This fun group fosters a judgement free-zone for any woman looking to learn more about shooting. They offer education and encourage women about firearm usage, safety, and promote women’s shooting interest and participation in shooting sports. To create a positive environment that supports women shooters and generate opportunities for women and girls in the shooting sports.

    W.A.S.P is ladies only, non-profit organization established by women shooters for women shooters for pistol, rifle and shotgun sports. This organization is designed to take beginners to whatever skill level they wish to achieve and provide experienced shooters with more opportunities to learn and grow. We meet monthly to practice, learn and grow as shooters. The objective of some is to improve their skill levels for target and/or competitive shooting. Others, while wanting to improve their skills, others are also interested in self-defense. Also, creating opportunities for women to be introduced to issues important to women shooters, learn safe gun handling skills and train together.
